The Air Transport Command developed a practical experience with regard to world-wide aerial transportation. It has often been said that, "Necessity is the Mother of Invention," but these accomplishments seem to indicate that just as often "Necessity is the Mother of Utilization." It seems reasonable to expect that some of these facilities can be used to build up a better World just as they have helped to tear down destructive forces. The war emergency work of these modern pioneers can certainly be of great help to aviation in building the very necessary transportation system of the World of Tomorrow. ●   |
