Coleman Sellers
(28 Jan 1827 - 28 Dec 1907)

American engineer and inventor who was ASME's 5th president, and chief engineer of the Nigara Falls Power Company. He designed the first large dynamos for the Niagara Fall power plant (1890), and was also a pioneer in photography by artificial light.
