Anne Roe
(20 Aug 1904 - 28 Jun 1991)

American psychologist and writer who is noted for her work relating personality and vocational choice. In her book, The Psychology of Occupations (1956), she presented the first thorough treatment of this topic. In her work, she was also interested in interviewing techniques, evolution and behavior, and creativity. She married paleontologist George Gaylord Simpson
