Murray Leinster
(16 Jun 1896 - 8 Jun 1975)

American author who used this pen-name when writing one thousand science fiction stories and articles for pulp and glossy magazines, in addition to novels, murder mysteries, juvenile fiction, movie scripts, and hundreds of radio scripts and television plays. His actual name is Will(iam) F(itzgerald) Jenkins, under which in his early career, he published more serious works.
