Alan C. Kay
(17 May 1940 - )

American computer scientist who pioneered object-oriented programming with Smalltalk, and developed a windowing graphical user interface. He has been called the father of the personal computer for his significant contributions, while at the the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center and later with Atari Inc., and Apple Computer Company. .
