Aharon Katchalsky-Katzir
(15 Sep 1913 - 30 May 1972)

Israeli chemist who made pioneering studies in the electrochemistry of biopolymers. His research included the use of polyelectrolytes as models for macromolecular substances in the living organism, membranes, and network thermodynamics.
