Vinton G. Cerf
(23 Jun 1943 - )

American computer scientist who is recognized as one of the fathers of the internet. While vice president of MCI Digital Information Services (1982-1986), he supervised development of MCI Mail, the a pioneer commercial email service. He joined Google as a vice-president in 2005.
