William Rounseville (W. R.) Alger
(28 Dec 1822 - 1905)
American clergyman and author who over many years gave lectures to lyceums and literary societies. He became chaplain of the Massachusetts House of Representatives in 1863. He wrote many articles in reviews and several books.
